11th Border Regiment
Who died 1st July 1916.
Just to let you know that on 7th February, 2009 A Service will Take Place in Carlilse Cathedral at 11:00am all are requested to be seated by 10:40am.

It is planned that the 1st Battalion King's Own Royal Border Regiment Colours are to be marched back to the Castle by the 1st Battalion of The Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment where they are to be presented to the Mayor of Carlisle "for safe keeping" at the entrance to Carlisle Castle.
