I have access to many of the standard sources concerning the attack on Scimitar Hill on the afternoon of 21 August. However, if possible I would like to get more detail as to the exact position and movements of the 1st Battalion, although I realize how soon things got confused and disorganized as the assault went forward. A trench map of their front would be great. Thanks |

I'm sure that it is amongst your standard sources, but just in case not, maybe try the book "Glory is no Compensation" which records the regiment at Gallipoli (book available from the regimental museum at Carlisle Castle), Paul |
