55th (Westmoreland) Regiment pre 1881 letterhead crest. I've also attached some slightly later letterhead crests from local volunteer artillery units of the Edwardian period. They were in a large Edwardian scrapbook album which was being broken up that contained hundreds of Victorian/Edwardian military letterhead crests. Apparently there was a trend about the time of The Boer War of collecting military crests - a bit like stamp collecting.

Here's another 55th Westmoreland letterhead crest. I'm guessing it may be earlier than the previous one as they haven't yet incorporated "China" into the dragon motif, it's just on the scrolls with the other battle honours. Also the dragon is a completely different style -less like the oriental style used on the post 1881 Border Regt badge centres (actually it's rather like the one on the 11th Btn WW1 badge don't you think?)
