Data collection
The Border Regiment Forum was powered by phpBB Forum Software. The statistical data was powered by the phpBB Statistics extension, v1.0.2 and transcribed into tables using wiki syntax.
Each of the data elements are complete based on activity up to (and including) the day the data was collected from the extension. Some data elements have been omitted because there was no data to view, namely within the 'periodic statistics' element. These data elements were broken down into three further divisions of monthly, daily and hourly statistics. As a result of the official notification that the forum would be closing down and the six month period leading up to the official closing date, the forum saw very little activity and, therefore, the period statistical data was very limited or even returned no data at all. With this in mind the monthly, daily and hourly statistics were omitted as it seemed a pointless exercise.
No statistical data for 'add-ons' have been included as none were installed.
Statistics structure
The navigation box below displays all the statistical data elements that were collected by the statistics software extension (with the exception of periodic statistics and add-ons). The structure is fairly straightforward with four main data elements:
- Basic statistics
- Forum activity
- Forum contributions
- Settings statistics
Forum activity and forum contributions are sub-divided further listing all the appropriate statistics within.
