32nd Division

The 32nd Division was a military unit forming part of the Fifth New Army during the First World War. It was raised with volunteers as part of Kitchener's Army, and served on the Western Front in France and Belgium from November 1915 for the duration of the war.[1] The Lonsdale Battalion formed part of the 97th Brigade, which in turn formed part of the 32nd Division along with the 95th, 96th and 14th Brigades and a unit of Pioneers.
