Memorial plaque on outside wall of St Mary’s church Kirkby Lonsdale. Pte. Thornborrow died in Pretoria of enteric fever on Sept 15th 1900, serving with the Kirkby Lonsdale section of the 1st Volunteer Active Service Corps, The Border Regiment.

Thanks very much for posting this memorial picture, I visited his grave in Pretoria on 11/11/10 and will have to try and find the picture I took and add it to this post.
