Royal Aero Club: The body, in alliance with the International Aeronautic Federation, which controls aeronautics in Great Britain and grants certificates of proficiency to aviators and airships and balloon pilots. Recognised by Government, as all naval and military aviators have to pass Aero Club tests before being accepted for the Services.[1]
