A note about this project[edit]

The above listing has been compiled using the Commonwealth War Graves Commission database and the publication Soldiers Died in the Great War 1914-19, Volume 39, The Border Regiment, which without, this project would not have been possible.

There are several thousand casualties for the entire regiment between these sources. The number of casualties compiled to date for this battalion does not necessarily reflect the total number casualties. Casualties that were associated with the Border Regiment, for example, officers and other ranks that were temporarily attached to the Battalion, have currently not been included.

This template is to be used for soldiers who were casualties in the Great War.
