This is the index page for Part 57 of The Great War: The Standard History of the All-Europe Conflict (Volume IV). This part is titled "The French Advance Towards Lens and the Battle of The Labyrinth." It was published week ending 18 September, 1915, and was priced at 6d. (6 pence).
This week's periodical starts on page 225 and ends on page 252. The front cover portrays a studio photograph of Alexandre Millerand, who at the time was French Minister of War, holding office between 26 August 1914 and 29 October 1915. - Problematic usually indicates a problem that requires further attention due to conflicting information, missing pages, illegible text, low resolution images or any number of issues that may arise.[3] (See all pages.)
