TWO IN HOSPITAL

And One Of Them Lost A Brother

Lance Sergeant Mitchison, 11th Border, in a letter dated June 16th, says:

Dear Mr. Star Man,

A line to say I have received two parcels, one belonging to Corporal White and the other Private Copeland. Both are in hospital, so I divided the contents between the men in the Platoon, and I can tell you they all enjoyed them immensely. We all send our deepest sympathy to Private Copeland, as he has lost a brother killed while he has been in hospital. All the boys wish the Star Fund much success, which it certainly deserves.
