1915 (Saturday)
- Battalion moves to Prees Heath Camp in Salop (Shropshire) where it joins the 97th Infantry Brigade, under Brigadier-General Hacket Thompson, C.B.[a]
- Report from the School of Instruction, Stirling on Lieut. Davidson. “A very hard working officer who has had very little previous experience. He should make a very good officer. His conduct was Exemplary.[1]
1916 (Monday)
- Contay Wood: Battalion in isolation camp (measles) involved in Divisional and Brigade manoeuvres, training and small working parties.[b]
