*Battalion makes a night attack on German positions South of Westroosebeek in conjunction with the remaining units of [[97th Brigade]] and two units of the 96th Brigade.
*1.55am: [[Zero hour]]. The [[Lonsdales]] take their objectives.
*Two leapfrogging [[company|companies]] fall back before dawn onto subsidiary objectives. These are held all day.
*4.30pm: The enemy launches a counterattack and the Lonsdale fall back to the old line.
