*Battalion training continues with 1st Battalion 130th Infantry Regiment (USA) at Ailly-le-Haut-Clocher.<ref group="notelower-alpha">The [[Lonsdales]] were in their final month before being disbanded. Where training is concerned, this was done alongside the American infantry. It was during this period that they moved to several different locations in the eventual run up to the disbandment papers being approved. On [[29 July]], 1918, the [[11th Battalion War Diary, July 1918|war diary states]]: {{quote-left}}orders received for WO's, [[NCO]]'s and men of the cadres to proceed to join the [[1/5th Border Regiment]] (A.G. letter C.R. 5/9054/30 G.) and for battalion to be disbanded from date of departure.{{quote-right}} The Lonsdale are disbanded two days later on [[31 July]].</ref>
