Line 1:
Postcards depicting scenes and views of various different locations within the Lake District of Cumberland and Westmorland, home to many soldiers of the Lonsdale Battalion and the Border Regiment. These postcards are primarily produced by G.P. Abraham Ltd., Judges Ltd., Henry Mayson and Valentine's Co. Ltd., although many other contemporary publishing companies extensively photographed the Lake District and surrounding areas. It is believed that all images in this category are pre-1947.
