Template:Sources/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Sources.

In most cases it contains usage information, example, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

The {{Sources}} template is used mainly on pages included in the Lonsdale Battalion on this day... project. Its purpose is to inform the reader of the primary sources used for this, and other minor projects on the site.

All pages within these projects should have {{sources}} contained within the <noinclude>...</noinclude> tags. This is specifically to prevent it showing up via transclusion on other pages, namely the Main Page where calendar events are refreshed daily.

There are no user parameters.
