This template is intended to tag media files with the specific Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International Licence, also known as CC-BY-SA-4.0. This licence offers the benefits of allowing those who use it to build upon and share the works providing the correct attribution is given - as seen in the key features of the licence in the template. Before using this licence, the user should always read the full details before hand, to ensure this is the correct licence required for the media file/s to be uploaded.

There are two ways to include this licence for your work: as wikitext in the Summary box or via the Licensing drop-down list.

• As wikitext: Copy and paste the following {{CC-BY-SA-4.0}} under a "Licensing" level 2 heading.
• Drop-down selection: Select "Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0)" from the list.

Double-check all the information in the summary is correct and click on "save".
