This is a documentation subpage for Template:Licence (public domain user).

This licence should be used where works have been released into the public domain by the creator / copyright holder.

There are two ways to include this licence for your work: as wikitext in the Summary box or via the Licensing drop-down list.

• As wikitext: Copy and paste the following {{Licence (public domain user)}} under a "Licensing" level 2 heading.
• Drop-down selection: Select "The author of this work has released this work into public domain without conditions" from the list.

Double-check all the information in the summary is correct and click on "save".
