Memorial cross at Eamont Bridge, near Penrith commemorating four men who served in The Boer War 1899-1902: William Hindson of Border Regiment volunteers.; John Hindson, William Todd, and Arthur Warwick of 24th (Westmorland & Cumberland) Imperial Yeomanry. (Hindson and Todd both killed 30th May 1900)
