Am currently reading this book, much in the same light as Gallipoli: Gully Ravine, is very interesting and although not exclusive to the Border Regiment but many regiments involved in the Helles Landings, it is interesting to find out how the Allied forces attempted to capture the peninsula from a collection of strategically important locations in the form of S, V, W, X & Y Beaches. |
