This is a documentation subpage for Template:Hatnote compendium page.

The template's primary function is to identify which pages are included in Category:Glossary. Adding pages to the glossary category allows for a faster navigation in that namespace, which is linked to from this template.
{{Glossary}} should be placed at the bottom of any new glossary page. Adding [[Category:Glossary]] is not required as it it is built in to the template.
