Template:Hatnote compendium page

Glossary: The word described on this page relates to the Border Regiment in connection with their actions and the places they were known to have fought at during the 1914-1918 period.

Template documentation

This hatnote template is used for article pages in the main namespace. Its function is to notify the reader that the page/article they are reading is listed in the Compendium of the Lonsdale Battalion and the wider Border Regiment.

Usage

Either of the following can be used. It should be placed at the bottom of any new compendium page, but above any categories.

• The main template page {{hatnote compendium page}}
• The redirected template page {{compendium}}

Adding [[Category:Compendium]] is not required as it it is built in to the template. However, additional categories that are relative to the subject may be included, especially if they are sub-categories of the compendium.
