Has anyone else just been watching The Antiques Roadshow tonight?

They showed an interview with a VC winners family, then took them to his brother's grave on the Somme. His name was Halliwell of The Border Regiment!

Obviously I wasn't expecting it, so did not have chance to make a note of the initial and number, but he must have been one of these two:

  • HALLIWELL, T. Private. Service No: 18014 Died 02/10/1916 Border Regiment 6th Bn. WARLOY-BAILLON COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION
  • HALLIWELL, T. Private Service No: 11264 Died 19/04/1916 Border Regiment 2nd Bn. CITADEL NEW MILITARY CEMETERY, FRICOURT
