Postcards depicting scenes and views of various different locations within the Lake District of Cumberland and Westmorland, home to many soldiers of the Lonsdale Battalion and the Border Regiment. These postcards are produced by Keswick-born, landscape photographer Henry Mayson who set up business in the early 1880's. It is believed that all images in this category are pre-1947.
