Further to my previous postings in the Memorials section for The Border Regiment Chapel in Kendal parish church, here are some regimental crests inside the chapel.
  1. A Chindit motif on the chapel kneeler cushions. (4th Border Regiment – traditionally Kendal’s TA unit, were in Burma).
  2. The 55th Westmoreland Regiment of Foot on the colours cabinet.
  3. 1st Volunteer Btn. on Boer War plaque
  4. Bronze crest on WW1 memorial.
