  1. Healy joins the 6th Battalion Border Regiment at Sidi Bishr, Egypt on 3 February, 1916. The war diary entry for that day reads: "Arranging camp. 184 other ranks marched in. Officers 2 Lt. A Fulton from hospital. Lt. Davies, 2 Lt. Healy & Allured attached from Manchester Regt. 2 Lt. McCrae Royal Warwickshire Regt. also attached."
