55th (Westmoreland) Regiment pre 1881 letterhead crest - I couldn't fit this in with the Border Regt. letterheads post so I've also attached some slightly later letterhead crests from local volunteer artillery units of the Edwardian period.

In memory of
John Bardgett
(15309 L/Cpl.)

11th Border Regiment
Who died 1st July 1916.
I particularly like the 2nd one, the Cumberland Royal Garrison Artillery letterhead; my personal favourite. It is interesting how these bear a striking resemblance to each other in both style and colour.
