Workington Committee for Lonsdale Recruiting

The members of the local committee of the above are Messrs. R.H. Hodgson (Chairman), R.E. Highton (Mayor), J.A. Haines, F. Hall, V. Ellis, F.W. Iredale, E. Valentine, H. Fielding, H. Jeffrey, W. Dixon, W. Fowler, Dr. Thompson, Dr. McKerrow, Quarter Master Dawson, Mr. C.H. Horobin (treasurer), and Mr. J. McKay (hon. secretary).

The Drill Hall, Edkin Street, will be used as a recruiting office and the following gentlemen have agreed to assist the committee in the undermentioned districts:-

Maryport, Mr Crerar and committee.
Cockermouth, Mr. J.H. Musgrave and committee.
Keswick, Mr. H.T. Pape and committee.
Bothel, Messrs Clementson and Cape.
Blennerhasset, Mr. Stephenson.
Aspatria, Mr. Smith Hill and committee.
Flimby, Mr. Johnstone
