1915

  • Template:WF Battle of the Argonne begins; Crown Prince attacks.
  • Template:EF Russians repulse heavy German attacks on Bukaczowce-Halicz front (eastern Galicia), but retreat.
  • Template:PO General Sukhomlinov, Russian Minister for War, resigns; General Polivanov succeeds him.

1916

  • Template:WF Battle of Verdun: French gain near Thiaumont work. British patrols active.
  • Ae –  Russians advance west in northern Persia. Turks prepare to leave Mosul. Turks driven from Lake Urmia (Persia).
  • Template:PO General demobilisation ordered in Greece. Germans threaten to stop Swiss coal supply if their cotton purchases are not delivered.

1917

  • Template:WF British advance astride Souchez river; La Coulotte occupied.

1918

  • Post Armistice: Fighting at Berlin and Hamburg.
