FOOTBALLS AND CARDS TO HAND In reply to our appeal for a football for ‘D’ Company, 11th Border; and playing cards for Private P. Devlin, Mr. E. Burrow, Copstone House, was god enough to send us a football; ‘Fruitarin’ bought us fourteen packs of cards, and Mr. Joseph Karly, Central Hotel followed with???? we have sent the football to ‘D’ Company and a supply of cards to Private Devlin, and on behalf of the recipients we very heartily thank the donors. We still have orders for melodeons. Can any of our readers spare an instrument or two now that they have got Christmas over?
