The Battalion was relieved in the trenches at night and proceeded to billets at LAVENTIE. Casualties 4 - 7/4/14, 4 wounded. A draft of 100 Other Ranks joined the Battalion on this date. | |||
2 Lieut. H.Owen,[1] who was wounded in action near NEUVE CHAPELLE in March rejoined the Battalion from hospital. | |||
The Battalion remained in billets. On 19th April the Battalion with 20th Brigade was inspected by Field Marshall Sir J.D.P. French. After his inspection the Commander in Chief addressed the Battalion. | |||
The Battalion again proceeded to trenches near FAUQUISSART at about 9pm. | |||

The Battalion were relieved at night by 6th West Yorks Regt and proceeded to billets at LAVENTIE. | |||
A draft of 161 Other Ranks joined the Battalion. At about 9pm the Battalion proceeded to trenches about 800 yards NE of NEUVE CAHPELLE – almost to the exact trenches captured by us on 12/3/15. | |||
In trenches. Captain W. Watson DSO was wounded on 30/4/15.
