E of FESTUBERT	1/12/15		The Battalion was relieved in the trenches by 1st Middlesex Regt and proceeded to billets at LE HAMEL.
LE HAMEL	2/12/15		The Battalion marched at 10-5am to billets at GONNEHAM arriving about 12 noon.
GONNEHAM	3/12/15 to 6/12/15		In billets. 2 Lieut W.L. Johnson^[1] joined the Battalion on 4/12/15.
GONNEHAM	7/12/15		The Battalion marched at 1pm to LILLERS and entrained for SALEUX at about 3pm.
SALEUX	8/12/15		The Battalion arrived at 1am and marched to billets at BREILLY.
BREILLY (10km West of AMIENS)	9/12/15 to 31/12/15		The Battalion remained in rest billets. Lieut R.F. Milliard, P.R. Dowding, 2nd Lieuts D. Strange S.J. Russell joined the Battalion on 11/12/15. A Draft of 45 Other Ranks joined the Battalion on 15/12/15. A Draft of 149 Other Ranks joined the Battalion on 28/12/15. A Draft of 15 Other Ranks joined the Battalion on 30/12/15. S.H. Worrall, Major for Lieut–Colonel Commanding 2nd Bn The Border Regt.
