	1st to 5th		Training of the Battalion in musketry, company and battalion drill was continued. Casualties week ending 5^th-2-16. Sick to hopsital 2Lt A. CAMPBELL 5-2-16. Other ranks 8.
	5th		2Lt W. de H. ROBINSON proceeded to ENGLAND on one month's leave.
	6th		Lt. Col. A. E. St. V. POLLARD rejoined from sick and resumed command of the Battn. 2Lt G. BADGER-CLARKE (unattached list) joined 6-2-16. Temp. Major J.R. MEIKLEJOHN proceeded to act as Brigade Major 86th Brigade temporarily.
	8th		2Lt G.W.N. ROWSELL assumed the duties of acting adjutant.
	10th		CAPT. H. MILLARD, T/CAPT W. CLAGUE, 2LT W.A. PRICE proceeded to ENGLAND on one month's leave.
	12th		1 other rank joined from MUSTAPHA.
	6th to 12th		Battalion trained in ATTACK formations. Casualties week ending 12th-2-16. Sick to hospital Lt. J.B. SINCLAIR. Other ranks 4.
SUEZ	13th to 19th		Battalion trained in ADVANCED GUARD + ATTACK formations.
	16th		Brigade practised in ADVANCED GUARDS + ATTACK formations under Brigadier [?]H.T. LUCAS.
	14th		1 man to CAIRO prison to undergo servetime of 1 year [?].
	16th		1 officer (2Lt. LEDWARD) 34 other ranks proceeded to form Brigade machine gun company.
	19th		1 officer (2Lt. R.E. CRANFIELD) and 1 other rank joined in gun company. Casualties for week ending 19^th-2-16. Sick to hospital officers nil, other ranks 12.
	20th		2Lt. S.C. CHEVERTON and 1 other rank proceeded to ISMAILIA to undergo course of instruction in the LEWIS machine gun.
	23rd		2Lt. R.G. CULLIS and 47 other ranks rejoined bringing 61 animals and 19 vehicles from ALEXANDRIA. 10 other rank rejoined.
	24th		Temp. Major J.R. MEIKLEJOHN rejoined from acting Brigade Major 86th Brigade.
	21st to 23rd		Battalion completed grouping practice (5 rds) at 100^x. Recruits completed modified course of musketry as per instructions received.
	24th to 26th		Battalion trained in ADVANCED GUARD and FLANK GUARD.
SUEZ	27th to 29th		Battalion continued course of musketry. Casualties sick to hospital 27th to 29th officers nil, others 9. Evacuated unfit 22. Extract from G.R.O List no.73 [? - Rewards] and Promotions d/ 29-1-16. Capt J.R. MEIKLEJOHN to be Major whilst acting in place of a Major on the Head [?] of the Battalion d/ 28-11-15.
