2Lt. R.G. CULLIS and 47 other ranks rejoined bringing 61 animals and 19 vehicles from ALEXANDRIA. 10 other rank rejoined.
24th
Temp. Major J.R. MEIKLEJOHN rejoined from acting Brigade Major 86th Brigade.
21st to 23rd
Battalion completed grouping practice (5 rds) at 100x. Recruits completed modified course of musketry as per instructions received.
24th to 26th
Battalion trained in ADVANCED GUARD and FLANK GUARD.
SUEZ
27th to 29th
Battalion continued course of musketry.

Casualties sick to hospital 27th to 29th officers nil, others 9. Evacuated unfit 22.

Extract from G.R.O List no.73 [? - Rewards] and Promotions d/ 29-1-16. Capt J.R. MEIKLEJOHN to be Major whilst acting in place of a Major on the Head [?] of the Battalion d/ 28-11-15.

WARD, no.8655 Sergt P.KEEFE, no.10267 a/Sgt T. MAYNARD.
