• Battalion moves to Prees Heath Camp in Salop (Shropshire) where it joins the 97th Infantry Brigade, under Brigadier-General Hacket Thompson, C.B.
• The ground there is found unsuitable for Brigade Training.

1916

• Battalion is located in an isolation camp at Contay Wood (measles) involved in Battalion training and small working parties.
