  • Germans take Biala and turn Russian right flank near Pillkallen. Russians withdraw beyond the Suczava.
  • Heavy dust storms interfere with pursuit of Turks.
  • S.S. Wilhelmina arrives at Falmouth.[notes 1]
  • Labour MP, Will Crooks delivers speech at a recruiting meeting held at the Market Hall in Aberdare, Wales.[1]

  1. The Wilhelmina carried a cargo of food shipped by an American form to an American citizen in Germany.
