1918 (Wednesday)

Battalion situated in the front line. Enemy is reported massing in front of B Company's position.
500–600 are seen leaving the trenches in small parties; probably reinforcements rushed up to hold up an expected attack.
Situation is normal again by 11am and the day is quiet.
Advance party of Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders arrive.

Events from that chronology are reproduced here with kind permission of Jim Lowther (2016). They are identified and referenced separately by their unique DLONS numbers.
