Lonsdale Battalion events that took place on 24 February.

1916

  • The Lonsdales and 17th Highland Light Infantry relieve each other; the men billet in Millencourt.[1]

1917

  • Battalions situated at Weincourt involved in general parades for training etc.[2]

1918

  • Battalion situated in camp near Woesten. Church parades as usual. Local cinemas etc. patronised in afternoon. The men bathe, get deloused and are issued with straw paliasses[3] and an extra blanket.[4]
