1915 (Friday)

  • Copy memo. of Major Binning: It has been suggested that an album of photos of the Lonsdale Battalion for sale in a cheap form, would be of considerable assistance to recruiting.[1]
  • Regarding bathing: As long as the Battalion remains at Carlisle, companies will attend Baths as usual.[2]

1916 (Sunday)

  • Senlis: Situated in billets involved in training.

1917 (Monday)

  • Holnon: Remains in support to two battalions in the front line.
  • One Company provides immediate support to the 17th Highland Light Infantry.
  • Work is done on shelters.
  • Deaths: William Walker Inman (24707 L/Cpl.).

1918 (Tuesday)
