- Battalion Orders: “Greatcoats will always be worn or carried by NCO’s and men proceeding to Musketry, for the purpose of protection in the case of rain and to lie upon when firing.” [1]
1916
1917
- Battalions situated at Weincourt involved in general parades for training etc.[3]
1918
- Battalion situated in camp near Woesten. Church parades as usual. Local cinemas etc. patronised in afternoon. The men bathe, get deloused and are issued with straw paliasses[4] and an extra blanket.[5]
