1916

• Battalion leaves Noyelle for support trenches in the 'Cambrin Sector', arriving at 5:15pm where they relieve the 1st Sherwood Foresters.
• Battalion HQ situated at 'Maison Rouge.' Strength in the trenches totals 20 officers (including MO) and 280 other ranks.
• At 6pm hostile observation balloons are taken down.
• The Commanding Officer visits 'Sims Keep' and 'Arthur's Keep' and finds all correct.
• Deaths: Miles Capstick (15584 Pte.)

1917

• Battalion involved in training at Coxyde under Company arrangements.
• Deaths: James Blair (15483 L/Cpl.)
