1915

  • The Lonsdales are taken over by the War Office almost one year after it is formed by Lord Lonsdale and an Executive Committee.

1916

  • Battalion situated in the Hulluch Sector. At 10:00am a conference is held at Battalion HQ by Brig-Gen. Jardine; officers commanding battalions are present. Day very quiet.[1]

1917

  • Battalion moves at 1:30pm to Canada Camp via Bray-Dunes: along the beach past La Panne, then to St Idesbalde and inland to Canada Camp; arrives 6:30pm.[2]
