- Newspaper article: Lonsdales Bring in Their First Prisoners.[1]

- Relief of the 17th Highland Light Infantry by the Lonsdales is postponed owing to a bombardment by Allied artillery.[4]
1917
- Battalion situated at Lytham Camp near Beaussart where they practice drill for an attack to take place. Commanding Officer explains the general practice scheme to the officers. Practice ground laid out to correspond to actual. [5]
1918
- Battalion situated at Boezinge - Bosinge Camp - where they have baths for remaining half of the men.[6]
- Lonsdales move forward into the line and relieve the 1st Dorset Regiment.[6]
