Lonsdale Battalion events that took place on 4 February.

  • Battalion strength: 22 officers, 35 sergeants, 39 corporals, 1207 other ranks; total 1303.[1]
  • Enlistment to E Company: Robert Irving (17572).[2]
  • Transfer: F. Allison (13890) from D Company to A Company.[2]
  • Discharge on medical grounds: A. Mattinson (13371).[2]

1916

1917

  • Battalion situated at Lytham Camp near Beaussart where they practice drill for an attack to take place. Commanding Officer explains the general practice scheme to the officers. Practice ground laid out to correspond to actual. [7]

1918

  • Battalion situated at Boezinge - Bosinge Camp - where they have baths for remaining half of the men.[8]
  • Lonsdales move forward into the line and relieve the 1st Dorset Regiment.[8]
