1916 (Friday)
- Newspaper articles Colonel Machell Killed & Batch of Wounded [1] and Wounded Three Times - Ran with Bombs [2] are published.
- Battalion reorganising into two companies in Contay Wood.
- Battalion strength is 11 officers and 480 other ranks.
- Deaths: John Davidson (15344 L/Cpl.)
1917 (Saturday)
- Battalion situated at Nieuport. Slight shelling of area up to 10am.
- Enemy aerial activity in early hours of morning.
- Shelling slightly heavier during afternoon and evening with several casualties. About five 8" shells per minute. Night much quieter.
1918 (Sunday)
- Battalion training continues with 1st Battalion, 130th Infantry Regiment (33rd American Division) at Ailly-le-Haut-Clocher.[note 1]
