- In rest billets at Bouzincourt.[1]
- Private R. Pearson writes: “Dear Sir – I take this opportunity of thanking you for the splendid gift of cigarettes, which were delivered to me in the trenches. We are at present resting in a village behind the firing line. We are billeted in old barns, which are over-run with rats. Thanking you and your readers once again, and wishing your valuable paper, every success.” [2]
