Battalion leaves Noyelle for support trenches in the Cambrin Sector, arriving at 5:15pm where they relieve the 1st Sherwood Foresters.
Battalion Headquarters is situated at 'Maison Rouge.' Strength in the trenches totals 20 officers (including medical officer) and 280 other ranks.
Hostile observation balloons are taken down.
Commanding Officer visits 'Sims Keep' and 'Arthur's Keep' and finds all correct.
Privates Miles Capstick (15584) and Desmond John McMahon (26051)^{[note 1]} die at home in the UK.
