  • Brigadier General Jardine conducts a tour of the rear line and machine gun positions with officers commanding the battalions of the 97th Brigade.[1]
  • The day is comparatively quiet with only a few hostile trench mortars falling near the Lonsdale's front line doing no damage.[1]
  • There is very active hostile machine gun fire during the evening.[1]
