1914 (Saturday)
- George Lawson (13648 Pte.) enlists.
1916 (Tuesday)
- Battalion finds fatigues for the Royal Engineers during the morning.
- No parades this day owing to the wet weather.
- In afternoon the Battalion practices crossing craters; General Rycroft is present.
1917 (Wednesday)
- Battalion holds the left sub-sector of Lombardzyde Sector - dispositions are unchanged.
- Two other ranks are killed, 8 are wounded.
- Casualties: Harrie Blakey (35005 Cpl.), Matthew Farrar (33525 Pte.) and Joseph Gaskell (20029 Pte.)
1918 (Thursday)
- Deaths: Frederick Pinder (19254)
