- Enlistments: Edward Danson (3848 Pte.) and Alfred Forsyth (15556 Pte.).
1916 (Wednesday)
- Cambrin Sector (support line): Battalion supplies working parties for the Royal Engineers.
- Colonel Girdwood, Commanding Officer, proceeds to England on leave.
- Major Moore of 17th Highland Light Infantry takes over command of the Lonsdales.
- Reinforcements of 12 other ranks arrive.
1917 (Thursday)
- Teteghem: Battalion is involved in Company training.
- Recreation take place in the afternoon.
