  • In billets at Aveluy providing fatigue duties[1] for the Royal Engineers.[2]

1917

  • Battalion situated in dug outs at Beaumont Hamel. The Lonsdales take over R1 Sector relieving the 16th Highland Light Infantry.[3]
  • The Commanding Officer meets with General Jardine.[3]

1918

  • Battalion situated on the front line. All very quiet.[4]
