• Brigadier General Jardine conducts a tour of the rear line and machine gun positions with officers commanding the battalions of the 97th Brigade.
• The day is comparatively quiet with only a few hostile trench mortars falling near the Lonsdale's front line doing no damage.
• There is very active hostile machine gun fire during the evening.

1917

• Battalion situated in billets in Wulpen finding working parties.
